Location: This position will work within University City High School
Join our team! Wyman is looking for a committed, youth-focused individual who is excited about providing social and emotional learning support to high school students in a school environment.
The Teen Connection Project (TCP) is Wyman’s newest evidence-based program. TCP is designed to improve peer relationships, social-emotional skills, school engagement, and well-being among high school aged youth. TCP is a 12-14 week program and serves teens from 9th through 12th grade. Since 2016, Wyman has delivered TCP to 353 teens in the St. Louis area. In 2019-20, five of our national partners piloted the program with 86 youth in their communities. Between 2021-2023, we anticipate over 400 youth will be served in Missouri.
The TCP Specialist will be responsible for the effective implementation of the Teen Connection Project at one or more local high schools. The Specialist directly implements the program to participants; implements the program with fidelity, consistent with the logic model and training; supports effective integration of the program into partner site; is responsible for maintaining costs within the approved budget(s); and supports data collection efforts.
Qualified individuals will have a Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, social work, or a related field. 2-4 years of youth program delivery within a school setting is preferred.
Please Note: Wyman has a mandatory vaccination policy for all employees and we are committed to protecting our teams, the youth we serve, our partners and our community. Applicants must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire. Reasonable accommodations will be considered.
