Wyman is seeking committed, mission-oriented individuals to build organizational capacity through the AmeriCorps VISTA program in support of long-term impact for young people in our region. We are currently recruiting for 2021 opportunities.
- National Network VISTA– The National Network VISTA member will build the capacity of Wyman’s National Network, which serves a network of agencies providing services to high need communities, by updating existing practices and implementing new practices for Wyman’s program resource database, including developing management standards and new materials that capture program implementation summaries and results. As a result of the VISTA member’s service, they will help improve the usability of existing program support materials thus enabling Wyman’s National Network to better address requests for materials from existing partners and reach more organization’s interested in exploring utilizing Wyman programs in their own communities. Through this enhanced reach, more young people will be supported in Wyman’s programs and will be better equipped to break the cycle of poverty. Click here to learn more and apply today!
Each VISTA commits to a year of service and is eligible for an end of service education award or cash stipend (your choice), a living allowance throughout your year of service, healthcare benefits, relocation allowance (if applicable), professional development, affordable housing options, and more!

In addition, we work to increase the effectiveness of the field by capturing and analyzing data, then sharing practices that can ignite innovation across the nation.
