PwC Volunteers Kick Off ‘Summer of Community Service’ Project at Wyman

Twenty-five PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) employees and interns from the St. Louis office spent a hot but productive day scrubbing, trimming, and manicuring Wyman’s campus into tip-top shape on Friday July 20. Working as a part of the firm’s “Summer of Community Service” initiative, the group attacked and conquered over a dozen projects around the 260 acre facility.

“My colleagues know how much I value my work as a Wyman board member, so when I asked if they’d include the organization in the firm’s 2012 initiative, more than two-dozen colleagues stepped up. I’m incredibly grateful for the all the hard work they did to help Wyman teens have an even better outdoor learning experience,” Director at PwC and Wyman Board member, Kyle Lopez said.

After several hours of projects, PwC staff members were treated to a lunchtime visit with over 50 Teen Leadership Program members, who eagerly peppered the visitors with question about their education and professional journeys.
