Leadership Program Director

Come join our team! Wyman is looking for a committed, energetic, youth-focused individual, who is excited about the opportunity to support long-term impact for young people in our region. The Director is responsible for full oversight of Wyman’s leadership and college success program, a singular program created in August, 2018, by blending two existing leadership and post-secondary access and success programs for teens. In order to support this work, the Director will bring a respect and understanding for both programs, while leading the team forward under a newly unified vision and structure in alignment with agency strategy. The Director will be supporting an overall change management process, and must be a highly motivated collaborator across programs and agency departments.

High School Coach

The High School Coach is responsible for leading the success of a cluster of 30-40 Scholars. The Coach operates from an academic and educational lens in their work with the team, teachers and parents to implement academic interventions that differentiate instruction based on scholar need. This position drives scholar success by empowering each scholar to achieve academic, leadership, and social/emotional excellence by providing ongoing academic advising, mentorship, connections to resources and opportunities including supplemental academic enrichment and support for scholars with academic challenges, tutoring supports, self-advocacy development, college and career counseling, community building opportunities, and leadership development.

Persistence Coach

The Persistence Coach is a member of the Wyman program team, and is responsible for coordinating all college persistence work for college level scholars in the program. The Persistence Coach provides immediate support and intervention, access to relevant services, and facilitates leadership and character driven experiences. This role supports a summer orientation session for Wyman 1st and 2nd year students out of high school. These experiences will ultimately contribute to the program’s vision of collective leadership, in urban communities among scholars, throughout their educational journey and post-college careers.
