InspireSTL Coach

Operate from an academic and educational lens in their work with the team, teachers and parents to implement academic interventions that differentiate instruction based on scholar need. An InspireSTL Coach drives scholar success by empowering each scholar to achieve academic, leadership, and social/emotional excellence by providing ongoing academic advising, mentorship, connections to resources and opportunities including supplemental academic enrichment and support for scholars with academic challenges, tutoring supports, self-advocacy development, college and career counseling, community building opportunities, and leadership development.

Recruitment, Preparation & Placement Manager
Lead yearly recruitment of new class of seventh grade scholars. Plan, lead, and evaluate the 14-month Prep Academy for rising eighth and ninth graders, especially focused on rigorous curriculum design and strong culture and community building among scholars. Lead programming that supports families ensuring that their scholar is placed at a top performing college-prep high school with the financial aid to matriculate.

Prep Academy Coach
Prep Academy coaches are seasonal members of the InspireSTL team. They work with a cluster of 8-10 middle school students, providing academic, social, and emotional support. In addition, they supervise and teach elective classes and perform tasks that support the daily operations of the program.
