In St. Louis, Wyman advocates for change and helps shape initiatives. Through partnerships with the Forum for Youth Investment, Beyond Housing and others, we are reducing inequities and improving outcomes for young people. Nationwide, we’ve helped more than 190 communities deploy innovative solutions to improve the lives of teens.
To help us build on this success:
Wyman depends on volunteers to help us prepare youth to lead successful lives and build strong communities. As we continue to grow, we depend on support from community volunteers to help us reach our goals.
We have plenty of exciting opportunities for every expertise and skillset: administrative support, fund development, research and site maintenance (painting, landscaping, etc.). During the school year, we have a need for volunteer tutors for high school scholars in core subjects such as Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Calculus, English, World History, American Government, Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy, Spanish and French. Our Volunteer Resources team provides support and guidance, and coordinates volunteer activities.
Individuals, teens and groups are welcome to collaborate with us. We request at least a thirty (30) day advance notice for group projects.
If you share our passion and want to make a difference in young people’s lives, please complete our volunteer application. To become a volunteer, fill out our online form here.
