That's a great idea, John! Playing sports together is a very different activity than watching your child play sports. The positive impact of 'cheering on' your son/daughter while playing on the same team would be a fun way to boost confidence and bonding. Thanks for that tip!

Thank you, ucity88! The teens visited Mary Ryder Home, Cambridge Heights Nursing Home, Avalon Gardens, Oak Knoll Residence Home, Charles Home, and University Forest Nursing Center. Brittany Woods TOP plans to continue the partnerships next year as well, with hopes to expand to several other nursing facilities in the St. Louis area.

This is fantastic! What nursing home(s) did the students visit with, and will this project be ongoing and expanded to include more students and/or nursing homes?

By preventing at-risk behaviors in teens, it is essential to establish a solid relationship with them, teaching them good values and taking genuine enthusiasm in the things that they're interested in.
With the kind of society we have today, it is a possibility that some of these kids get influenced from other people and the bad experiences that they might go through. That's why it is also important for parents to learn how to identify if their own children are indeed at-risk because of these other factors. Here's something that might help:
