That’s a great idea, John! Playing sports together is a very different activity than watching your child play sports. The positive impact of ‘cheering on’ your son/daughter while playing on the same team would be a fun way to boost confidence and bonding. Thanks for that tip!

minors can join in adult sport leagues if a parent consents, so playing on the same team could be pretty cool too

Thank you, ucity88! The teens visited Mary Ryder Home, Cambridge Heights Nursing Home, Avalon Gardens, Oak Knoll Residence Home, Charles Home, and University Forest Nursing Center. Brittany Woods TOP plans to continue the partnerships next year as well, with hopes to expand to several other nursing facilities in the St. Louis area.

By preventing at-risk behaviors in teens, it is essential to establish a solid relationship with them, teaching them good values and taking genuine enthusiasm in the things that they’re interested in.
