St. Louis, Mo., [Aug. 29, 2008] – In its 28th year, Wyman’s Annual Golf Tournament netted just over $240,000. Encouraged by the beautiful weather, 240 golfers turned out for the event at Whitmoor Country Club in St. Charles on Monday, August 18th. Event sponsors included Kirberg Company, Dave and Cheryl Morley, Bill Voss Agency, Inc., American Family Insurance and the South Side Lions.

“We are exceedingly pleased with the results of the tournament and the support of all our sponsors,” Wyman President Dave Hilliard said. “Even in the face of difficult economic times, our supporters are focused on the mission - enabling the disadvantaged teens in our community, and the success of this event makes a huge impact.”

Proceeds from the event support Wyman’s mission programs – including the Teen Leadership Program (TLP), the Wyman Teen Outreach Program (TOP) and the college scholarship program (see key sponsors below).

“I believe this tournament continues to be successful because of our long-time supporters and the new folks continually coming on board who are also passionate about the cause,” Dave said.
